I have trained with professor Matt for over 2 years now and can say it has been one of the best decisions I have ever made for myself. Matt is an exceptional martial artist having multiple black belts in arts like Brazilian jiu jitsu, tae kwon do and judo which all translates to how effective he is in teaching jiu jitsu. He knows firsthand the discipline it takes to be good at BJJ and has broken the art down into practical movements and principles which make learning easy whether you're a beginner or a seasoned veteran. I came to Matt with 10 years experience training and have never adjusted to a program easier before. The culture at Driven is so supportive and accepting, I really feel safe when I train as everyone is out to learn instead of win. Coach Mike is a co-owner of Driven jiujitsu and holds the rank of purple belt. He’s married with 5 kids, 3 of which train jiujitsu (the other 2 on their way) Mike started in combat sports at the early age 9 when he began boxing at Golden gloves Boise. His jiujitsu journey started in September of 2018, and has not only been a passion but a lifestyle that has led to his desire to train others.
